Occupational Health Advisor (REF 1553)

Location: Home-Based covering Sheffield area

Duration: Permanent Part time Position - working 24 hours per week

Salary: Based on qualifications & experience (plus a wide range of benefits including 3 CPD days per year, life assurance, long service extra annual leave, paid NMC subscriptions)

We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our growing team and deliver a quality service across a range of client sites.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Health Advisor you'll be responsible for delivering the full OH remit including;

  • Health Surveillance
  • Health screening
  • Case Management
  • Contributing to client health and well-being strategies

This role serves multiple clients across the Sheffield region, working with a range of Occupational Health professionals in a range of interesting client industry sectors including safety critical travel organisation, blue light and Ministry of Justice organisations. Experience in mental health is also desirable (but not essential) as you will be dealing with issues in this field.

You will be an experienced Occupational Health practitioner ideally with an OH qualification, who is able to demonstrate relevant prior experience in similar roles. This role also offers flexibility of both teamwork and autonomous working, giving you a great balance to your working week.

Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role

  • NMC Registered RGN
  • Case Management experience
  • Mental Health experience is desirable
  • Preferably OH Qualified to Diploma / Degree level
  • Happy to work in a team and autonomously
